Jordan is supremely popular for one reason – the world’s most famous archaeological wonder – the Nabataean site of Petra.

However, there is far more to this compact, culturally and historically rich country than one famous Indiana Jones filming location! Jordan is home to some of the best preserved Roman ruins in the world outside Italy, the incredible Dead Sea, plus castles and Biblical sites galore! There is also the magnificent Wadi Rum, reminiscent of the epic Lawrence of Arabia.
