Just a few years ago, tourists were not permitted to even visit Saudi Arabia unless it was for work or religious reasons. Now, with the new Saudi e-visa, many nationalities can enter with very little hassle.
We were drawn to this newly opened nation, neighbouring our favourite country, Oman.
I’d describe it as a land of surprises; soaring mountains, ancient hidden cities, historic hanging villages, volcanic craters, epic blue oceans and more. It was beautiful and not what we were picturing at all.
